Cobalt Credit Union Joins with Bellevue University to Develop Custom Program for Aspiring Leaders

Cobalt Credit Union collaborated with Bellevue University to create custom education programs for both Aspiring Leaders and Current Leaders. Much of the focus of this education partnership in the past year has been on leadership education.
A talent-forward organization, Cobalt Credit Union recognized the value of focused and contextualized leadership education. In August, 2019, employees were given a presentation about a new leadership program designed to give those who participated greater knowledge, skills and confidence about financial services and the role of Cobalt Credit Union in meeting consumer financial needs.
The Aspiring Leaders course of study consisted of three 6-week courses, covering business management, communication, and collaboration. Communication and collaboration boot camps were drawn from Bellevue University's PowerSkills™ Boot Camps. The program learning objectives included: Business and Financial Management and Leading Dynamic Teams.
At the end of the program fourteen enthusiastic, newly confident leaders were celebrated at a graduation ceremony at Bellevue University.
